After watching Celebrity Apprentice last night, I really think that NBC would do well to create a show that combines The Apprentice with A&E’s Intervention.
Dennis Rodman is definitely in need of some sort of help for his alcoholism. Of course, you can’t help somebody unless they’re ready and willing to get help – which he doesn’t appear to be.
Everybody keeps talking about the Emmy Award winning show, Mad Men. I’ve watched one episode and thought it was alright, but I was lost. Somebody fill me in on the characters, the premise, and what I need to look for.
Congrats to Jeremy Piven on his Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series last night at the Emmy’s. If you’re not watching Entourage, you’re missing out on a hilariously funny series.
John Adams was the first miniseries that I have watched since I was a kid. It was excellent. Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney were wonderful. They were completely deserving of their awards. Hopefully, Generation Kill will win one next year. HBO never fails to pump out great shows.
Though I didn’t watch them, it seems that the Emmy Awards is the only awards show that ever seems to get it right. So, somebody give them the Emmy for Outstanding Awards Show.
*SPOILER*
Sorry if you TiVo-ed it…but it happened last night so it’s fair game to blog about today…
I didn’t think the Frozen Donkey Wheel was as exciting as last years Rattlesnake in the Mailbox…
but the Season 4 finale was pretty good…and leaves some good unanswered questions for the final 2 seasons of the show.
Here is a quick video which shows the 3 different endings shot for the finale.
My daughter and I were watching the Zoey 101 movie on Saturday night on Nickelodeon. Towards the end of the show, there was a band full of white kids playing some rock music.
The name of that band: Jungle Fever.
Now, I don’t want to be that guy pointing at the elephant in the room, but isn’t a term like “Jungle Fever” a little racy for a television show geared towards tweens?
DAMN! They really brought out the big guns last night, setting the tone for the last 4 episodes of Season 4.
Here are some screen captures from last night…click the link below to see them, as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who might have taped the show.
Thanks to LostEasterEggs.Blogspot.com for the pics! Be sure to check out LostEasterEggs.blogspot.com and/or DarkUFO.blogspot.com for all things Lost! Great site(s).
Lost returns tonight, with the first of the final 5 episodes of Season 4…and I am WICKED EXCITED as Lost is the only show that is a must-see for me.
The episode tonight is titled The Shape of Things to Come…and according to the Official Lost Podcast (with Lost Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse) there is to be a reveal as to the “control” of the smoke monster…so watch for that!
Check back tomorrow for my review of this 2nd-Half Season starter.
