"Lightning started a fire in a Mayville home in Dodge County about 4:30 a.m. Everyone escaped the house, but the building suffered heavy damage, Mayville Fire Chief Roger Williams said.

As firefighters were leaving the house around 7 a.m., they were called to a NAPA Auto Parts store. The roof there had collapsed from the weight of standing water left by the downpours."</description>
