From the New York Post… The US Government secretly bankrolled TV Panelists, billed as Military Analysts, to put a positive spin on the war in Iraq. Calling these highly respected and decorated Military leaders “Message Force Multipliers“. Or rather, “an influential but unacknowledged mouthpiece or propagandist for one’s interests”. Yes, we are routinely being lied to. By the Democrats, the news media and the generals who work for them.
So it’s about time that people who actually have the facts are being put onto the news to counter all the pro-terrorist propaganda from the Left.
After all, it’s not like the newsies run the Pentagon press briefings or print the press releases from the Central Command or Coalition headquarters.
And it is the case that they rely on ’stringers’ who are part of the terrorist forces and run the fauxtographs doctored by the terrorists.
So I’m happy to know that at last some of the truth is coming out. But you seem to be opposed to that. Who are you and what did you do to Fuzz Martin?

This type of activity continues to drive a wedge between the American people and the government…when we are led to believe these “independent” analysts are giving their own thoughts…and it turns out they are just being paid to say whatever the Pentagon wants them to say.
I see plenty of Pentagon briefings on the news…if you are referring to White House press releases being omitted from broadcast, I am guessing the news can only report so many times that President Bush said “Things are improving” and “if we don’t do X, the terrorists win”.
It’s an ugly situation we are in…and anyone who thinks there is a broad general solution to the intricacies of geo-politics is sorely mis-guided… These are the same people who digest everything given to them by these 45-second sound byters on ANY news program…assuming that Glen Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Lou Dobbs, or any of their guests or fellow pundits have “THE ANSWER” is outrageous. Even more so for people just stand on the sidelines and say “you’re an idiot…no, you’re an idiot…no, you’re an idiot”…just gets us no where.
I appreciate your comment, thank you. To say that everything in the media is either perpitrated by Democrats (or Republicans) is a little naive. Corporations run news outlets.
Fuzz allows me to post here…and I thank him for that. Quite often what I post flies in the face of what Fuzz would write himself, so I commend him for allowing another view to be presented (without secret government subsidies).
