Offer Codes: A Tip From Your Uncle Fuzz
November 29th, 2007 by FuzzTagged as: Christmas.
I taught myself a pretty lucrative trick this Christmas shopping season. When you buy something online, before you check out, do a Google search for “Name of the Retailer You’re Shopping At” “Offer Codes.” Yeah, I saved a ton of money and got a ton of free shipping that way this year. Is it cheating? Nah.
Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until after Christmas to tell you which retailers I successfully pulled this off at – since certain readers would be able to guess their presents. I assure you, however, that it worked at 100% of the places that I have purchased products from online.
You’re welcome.

So, do you think this will work year round??

Yes, I will e-mail you both.
I’m sure that it does work year round, but there probably aren’t as many deals as there are at this time of year.

Cool
I just found a coupon code for YesAsia.com (kind of like Amazon) which will get me a discount on some Japanese sewing books I’m ordering for my birthday. So cool!

Ah, the pleasure of being a parent… buying your own birthday gifts. HAHA!
I just e-mailed you two. Have fun!

Actually, my grandma sends me cash so I can get what I want. It’s worked out pretty well that way, because I’m hard to fit in clothing, and I have strange requests for gifts (like sewing books written in Japanese, which I don’t know how to read
)

Did you save on my gift with the codes?
Did you know that if you use your paypal at some stores you get 20% cash back! Now that is a deal.

No, but you could have saved money on those nice Christmas cards that you and your lovely wife sent out.
