Ammunition Shortage
August 22nd, 2007 by FuzzApparently there is an ammunition shortage going on right now “due to” the war in Iraq. After reading that on FWIS, yesterday, I didn’t really think twice about it. That was until, however, I stopped by Gander Mountain to pick up some .40 S&W rounds. A 250 ct. box of (can’t remember the brand name for some reason right now… yellow box… PMC maybe?) cost me $59 a few months ago. Yesterday, that same exact box was $75.99. I didn’t buy any… I don’t need to go shooting that badly.
UPDATE: I just remembered the brand name… it’s Remington UMC. Duh.

The ammo shortage isn’t due to the Iraq War… its actually due to the proliferation of SWAT teams.
