Energy Drink Review: Nos

On the way back from Ames, IA I found this little 11oz bottle tucked into a truck-stop cooler. I am guessing the target audience of NOS Energy Drink is the same crowd who rushed out to see The Fast and the Furious (and it’s subsequently dismal failures). I do appreciate the tall and narrow plastic bottle. I don’t appreciate that it tastes just like Sobe No Fear Gold, costs 50 cents more and is 5 ounces less. Save your money, get a larger (more economical?) size, or by the Sobe NFG.

It’s starting to look like there are no energy drinks that you actually like.

Oh no way! I do like it, but the price for the size makes it drop below 5 stars.
I really like Rockstar original…all of the “juicy” EDs suck.

how long will the 22 oz keep me up for? more than ten hrs?

…it’s hard to say. I honestly wouldn’t put much faith in energy drinks keeping you up for any time longer than say, a Mountain Dew.
I can personally drink a pop or Energy Drink and go to bed 10 mins later.
If you are looking to stay awake for 10 hours, I would look into those 8 hour energy-type products. Or perhaps those canned oxygen products as well….but having never tried them, I cannot recommend them.

The longer you want energy, the longer you should stay away from anything containing high-fructose corn syrup. The B vitamins in energy drinks will give you all the sustained energy you need without letting you down, so look for the drink with the most B vitamins, and you’ll be golden. Monster and Rockstar drinks are good that way in that they don’t contain any high-fructose corn syrup or aspartame (in the sugar free brands) so you should be good to go from there.

Tonight i had the NOS 22 oz and it helped me but no after drag. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A+++
