Necrophilia Law

September 19th, 2006 by Fuzz

Remember those three punks who decided to dig up poor Laura Tennison’s body in order to have sex with her? Well, they are off the hook thanks to the fact that Wisconsin has no laws on the books regarding necrophilia.

I contacted my state senator (Fitzgerald) and representative (Fitzgerald) and expressed my concern. I know that this is a homerun issue that is just a matter of bringing to session, but I didn’t want something as simple as a necrophilia law slipping through the books again!

What about grave robbing? Doesn’t that garner some jail time? Conspiracy to commit a crime, etc?

Yeah, they do still face some other charges (3 of them?) I believe all are misdemeanors.

Right, Xavier. They are facing criminal damage to property (misdemeanor) and attempted theft (misdemeanor). I bet they’ll only get a slap on the wrist.
